What the public site collects now
Become Chinese is currently a public content site. It does not offer user accounts, checkout, comments, private messages, or paid AI tools on the public static site.
The hosting provider, CDN, and server may keep standard technical logs such as requested pages, IP addresses, user agent strings, referrers, timestamps, and error information for security and reliability.
Analytics and search monitoring
We may use tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand search performance, page visits, popular topics, device types, rough geography, and technical issues.
Google Analytics only loads when a measurement ID is configured. Analytics should be used to improve content quality and site usability, not to sell personal profiles.
External links and affiliate referrals
Articles may link to external websites, marketplaces, videos, books, restaurants, or tools. Those websites have their own privacy practices and terms.
Future affiliate links may include referral identifiers so a marketplace can attribute a purchase. Readers can choose not to use those links.
Future paid features
If Become Chinese later launches accounts, payments, AI readings, saved preferences, or community features, those features should ship with a separate privacy update before launch.
Sensitive inputs, payment details, and AI-generated private outputs should be handled in a private backend rather than in this public static content repository.
